  • Yes. Everything shared in therapy is kept strictly confidential, with a few legal exceptions (such as safety concerns or court orders). We’ll explain these fully during your intake process.

  • Absolutely. Our practice is committed to culturally responsive care, with deep respect for the lived experiences of clients from BIPOC, immigrant, and other marginalized communities.

  • Yes. I work with couples to improve communication, resolve conflict, and deepen emotional connection. Whether you're navigating relationship trauma, trust issues, or simply want to grow closer, I offer a supportive space to help you align your relationship with your shared values.

  • Every client’s journey is different. Some people benefit from weekly sessions, while others may choose bi-weekly or monthly appointments. We’ll work together to find a schedule that feels supportive and sustainable for you.

    • There’s no set timeline for healing. Some clients come for a few months to work through a specific concern, while others choose longer-term support for ongoing growth and self-discovery. You’re always in control of your journey.

  • That’s completely okay, many of our clients are starting therapy for the first time. We’ll go at your pace, explain the process step by step, and make sure you feel safe and supported along the way.

  • Finding the right therapist is important. If at any point you feel like Manzil Counseling isn’t the best match for your needs, we’ll be glad to offer referrals and resources to help you continue your journey elsewhere.
